Accessibility Statement

What we've done

We've built this site to follow recognised accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1, level AA) as closely as we can. In practice that includes:

• Text and backgrounds chosen to meet colour-contrast standards for readability.
• Every image has a written description for screen readers.
• Form fields have clear labels, and errors are announced rather than shown by colour alone.
• The site can be navigated by keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
• The layout adapts to mobile screens and supports zooming in.
• We respect the "reduce motion" setting if you've turned it on.
• The site uses clear headings and plain language.

Honest limitations

WivMe is an early, pre-launch site and we're a small team, so it hasn't yet had a formal independent accessibility audit. There may be things we've missed. If you find a barrier, we genuinely want to hear about it — it helps us fix it.

Your rights

In the UK, the Equality Act 2010 requires services to make reasonable adjustments so disabled people aren't put at a disadvantage. We take that seriously and treat accessibility as part of building WivMe, not an afterthought.
