QuestionsAnswered.
Is WivMe a dating app?
No. WivMe is built around the activity, not the profile. There is no swiping, no romantic matching and no pressure to turn a shared plan into anything more. It is for finding someone who wants to do the same thing.
Do I need to be 18 or over?
Yes. WivMe is for adults aged 18 and over.
Will I see every activity?
No. You will only see activities that match the filters you have set and where you meet the criteria set by the person who posted the activity.
What safety features will there be?
You choose what you share and when — the person posting only reveals the exact time and place once they're comfortable. Messages are moderated, and built-in features let you block and report someone at any time. We'll keep adding to WivMe's safety tools as it grows.
Will people see my exact location?
No. The exact where and when stays private until you choose to share it. We don't show your home address or live location.
Where is WivMe launching?
Derby first. We want to get it right in one place before we go anywhere else. Use the form to tell us where WivMe should go next.
Can I help test WivMe before it launches?
Yes, and we’d love the help. Testers get a £10 voucher — or we’ll donate it to a charity of your choice. Tick the testing box on the form, or read more on our tester page.
Can I influence what gets built?
Yes. Tell us how you’d use WivMe, what matters most and where you’d like it to launch.
What does it cost to register for launch?
Nothing. Registering for launch is completely free and creates no obligation.
How much will it cost to join the app?
WivMe is free to join, and you’ll be given credits when you sign up so you can try it properly. Credits are what you use to post a plan or ask to join one. When you run out, more are available to buy in small, affordable bundles. There is no subscription, and you’ll always see the cost before you buy anything.
I have a question. How can I get in touch?
Email us at support@wivme.app and we’ll be happy to help.
